Gammelgaard Feriecenter Conditions of Rent

Included in the rent:

The rent outlined in the booking includes power for electricity and heating,

environmental charges and cleaning at the end of your stay, as well as free use of

swimming pool, gym and more (the solarium requires coins). Cleaning products for

washing up and washing machine, as well as toilet paper, are included in the price.

Cots and high chairs are freely available for guests.

Optional extras:

Linen, towels, dish towels and cleaning cloths can be bought from us or brought with

you.

Dogs are allowed at an extra charge.

In high and middle season you can buy our breakfast buffet.

When booking, you can also purchase cancellation insurance.

Arrival and departure:

For all stays the arrival time is 1.15 pm and the checking out time is 10 am. If your ferry

arrival is earlier than this, please feel free to contact reception. Your apartment may

possibly be ready, and if not we can inform you when it will be.

House numbers:

It is usually not possible to book a specific house number. It is our policy that when

booking a stay, you book a specific house Type or category - not a specific number.

Should there, on arrival, be a change in house Type or category it will always be to a

larger and more expensive Type / category at no extra cost.

Payment:

For all stays a deposit of 33% must be paid at the latest 10 days after receipt of

confirmation. Note that if payment is not received on time, the booking will be cancelled.

The rest of the rent must be paid at the latest 35 days / 5 weeks before arrival.

Note that we do not send out a separate invoice for this. The guest is responsible for

paying on time.

When booking online, a deposit is required as outlined above, while the rest of the rent is

paid on arrival.

IMPORTANT: Remember to state your name and booking number.

NOTE-NOTE-NOTE:

If booking later than 14 days before arrival, full rent must be paid within 48 hours and

documentation of payment must be sent to us by email. If this is not possible, a special

arrangement must be made with us.

Cancellation insurance:

Cancellation insurance of 5% of the rent must be purchased when booking your stay, and

a deposit must be paid.

In the event of your stay being cancelled due to a medical emergency, accident or a death

in your immediate family, the full amount of the rent is refunded, if you have bought

cancellation insurance.

If you cancel without having cancellation insurance the following applies, regardless of

reason for and time of cancellation:

a) The pre-paid rent, minus 33% is refunded

b) The guest can without extra charge transfer the booking to another party, as long

as we are informed in writing.

c) Gammelgaard Feriecenter is obliged to seek new bookings.

d) If a new booking is successful, the paid rent is refunded minus a charge of DKK

500.

e) The rental period can be changed at a charge of DKK 500.

Other conditions:

At the end of your stay, the apartment and contents must be left in good condition.

The guest is liable for any damages that occur during the rental period, insofar as the

damages have been caused by the guest or his or her party.

It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that the apartment is tidy, that all dishes have

been cleaned (the dishwasher does not have to be finished its cycle), and that the bins in

the kitchen and bathroom have been emptied.
